In his 70th year, after a courageous two year battle with cancer, Theodore (Ted) Gregor passed away peacefully in Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Cherished son of Alec and Emma Gregor (deceased) of Sudbury, husband of Margo, father of Jamie and Shawn, brother to Sharon, uncle to Cori and grandfather to six, Ted leaves behind a family that will sorely miss him. After g r a d u a t i n g f r o m Q u e e n 's U n i v e r s i t y medical school in 1962, he received his specialty certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1968. Perhaps his greatest attribute was his absolute commitment not only to his patients but to helping his colleagues better care for theirs. After delivering thousands of babies, Ted turned his attention to the practice of Occupational Health, making workplaces in Ontario safer for more than two decades. In later years, he became able to enjoy the pleasures of cottaging and golf, though sadly not for long enough. The Gregor family wishes to thank the caring physicians and nurses in Oakville, Orillia and London who so ably cared for Ted. Though saddened by our loss, we wish to celebrate a rich life that has touched so many. LIMERICK, Joyce (nee Kowal)- Peacefully at home with her husband and daughters at her side, Joyce passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2007 two days after her 69th birthday. She was diagnosed with cancer in mid-September and was able to continue with her active lifestyle up until her last two weeks. Joyce will be deeply missed by her loving husband Don, daughters Heather (Robert Larabie) and Karen (Michael Convery), grandchildren Andrew and Jaime, sister Lynne (Don Spruston), nieces Kerri and Susan, father-in-law Edwin Limerick, brothers-in-law Richard (Marjorie) and George (Bev), nieces Gail, Lynne and Carol and the rest of her extended family. She will also be fondly remembered by many wonderful friends and acquaintances from her years in Winnipeg, her time working and raising a family in Montreal, and her retirement years in Oakville. Possibly the most cheerful and positive person one could meet, Joyce was truly able to brighten the day of everyone she met. She was a long time employee of CIBC in Winnipeg, Montreal and Toronto where her cheer touched her co-workers and anyone who came into her branch. Joyce's most cherished occupation was simply being "Grandma" where she devoted boundless love and energy. Golf was one of her favorite activities during her retirement years. The Limerick family wishes to thank everyone for their kind words of condolence and sympathy. Though saddened by our loss, we wish to celebrate a wonderful life that has touched so many. The cremation has taken place and at Joyce's request there will not be a funeral service, instead we will be hosting a celebration of life on Saturday, December 8, 2007. If you wish to attend the celebration or to share a fond memory, please email celebrate joyce@hotmail.com. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations can be made in Joyce's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian National Institute for the Blind. markosbathroomplace.com Northridge LTCC Requires RN STAFF EDUCATOR P/T RN's & RPN's 496 Postridge Dr, Oakville fax/email resume: 905-257-9883 Email: juliewong@cplodges.com PROFESSIONAL interior painting.
