Christine could not sleep, after all it was Christmas eve. Christine had long brown hair and blue eyes. Then a neigh brook the peaceful silence. Had Christine imagined it, or was it her mare dream? Christine jumped out of bed and went outside in the cold crisp air. Outside she came to an enormous stable. She went inside to Dreams stall. The beautiful mare was completely black. Before Christine could greet Dream with a hug, Dream touched some straw away with her hoof uncovering a wrapped gift. Cautiously Christine picked up the mysterious gift. She opened it and there lay a book in her hands about unicorns. Suddenly a warm breeze came into the stall, wich flipped the book to a page... "Magic of love, care and kindnesss will you grant my only wish burning light come shining down to my loving unicorn. POSH!! A blinding light come out of nowhere! Before her eyes Dream had turned into a snowy white unicorn. "come we have no time to losse." Said Dream. `Hurry! On my back!" Christine scrambled on Dreams back. Dream leaped into the dark sky. "What's going on?" asked a confused Christine. "I'm a unicorn and I come from the land you know of the North Pole, Santa sent and... to save Christmas!!" answered Dream. What? Wondered Christine, but before she could ask she started to see little twinkling lights and she saw a very ansious Santa waiting. Wonce they had landed Santa came and said `Please we need your help all of the toys have been destroyed and it's already are too eghausted to work! So will you please help us save Christmas? Asked Santa. "yes, of course! Lets start!" So Santa told them what to do. Soon they had made 3 billion presents, but it was 5:00 am! Santa said they had to deliver them before 6:00 am! So Santa said "Will Dream be a flying sleigh horse and you can be Santa's helper?" asked Santa pleadingly. "OK!" said Christine. Almost sone and it's only 5 minutes to 6:00am o-clock. Hurry, we must go back to the North Pole before the sun rises!" cried Dream. Soon they were back at the North Pole. "Thank you Christine and Dream you saved Christmas and as a reward I will grant you 2wish," said Santa/ "I wish we can come and visit" started Christina "Done!" cried Santa `And I wish Dream had more powers" continued Christine. "You must find Dream powers together." "Good-bye come visit!" cried Santa and the elves and reindeer. Merry Christmas cried Christine and Dream. That was the most magical Christmas the ever had. By Leopoldine Vassiliou snowman," I said. Joyfully. "Oakville is another thing that boosted me!" The End By Matthew Mac Is Santa coming this year? "Santa, Santa is it time to go yet?" "Yes Roudolf, let me just load the toys into the sled, ok." "Yes Santa." "Roudolf, one more thing." "Ok, what is it?" "Is your nose charged?" "Yes Santa I spent all last night charging it." "Alright elves, good bye now!" "Start it up." "Ok Santa." "Off we go!" As Roudolf's nose ran out of light. "Oh no!" Said Santa. Roudolf and Santa were panaking so much that they were not paying attention to the sky and they crashed into a tree! Roudolf and Santa were stuck! Meanwhile Rachel and Kristen were trying to call Santa, but all they got was "I'm sorry Santa is busy please leave a jolly message. Now back to Roudolf and Santa. After 40 minutes Roudolf found his phone in his pocket. Santa was reliefed. Santa then reached for the phone and called Rachel and Kristen. "Hellow," said Kristan cheerfully. Kristen it's Santa, you know who I gave you those magical reindeer" "yeah", "Well, fly over here and help me!" "I'm stuck in a tree!" "Ok." Kristen and Rachel flew over. "Hi Santa!" "Hey girls!" After another 10 minutes of strgaling Santa and Roudolf were free! "I'll drive you home girls." "OK." As they were flying home, the girls fell asleep. When they got home every one was happy aspecialy in the morning since they had got everything they wanted because they had helped Santa. Everyone lived happily ever after! The end! By Olivia Almeida tried to hide every evidence that a penguin was here in her home. That year was really fun but it went by so quickly. Then Pengui said "Bye bye for now I will visit you again soon! I promise!" Then secretly Pengui climbed onto Santa's sleigh again and guess what? Santa found out and said "oh, what do you want for Christmas Pengui?" Pengui told Santa his wish and so Pengui became an elf who spread Christmas cheep everywhere. Pengui visited his good friends Lily and Chippy as he promised and everyone was happy! The end! Merry Christmas! By Fiona Murray The Odd Elf Out `Erny!!! That's the fifth time you've spilled the stuffing," the head elf yelled. That's me, Erny Melf, Krook was the one who tripped me! But the head elf fell down! I glumly walked away, and fled the North Pole! After days and days, I got to a nice, peaceful town called Oakville. `Nice costume. Great way to get ready for Christmas," a young lady exclaimed. Man, can an elf (actually anybody!) get used to this society! For five days entertained people, for five days I got money, for five days I blended in, and I was happy! On the sixth day I decided to take a walk in Nottinghill Park. I was passing by a snowman, when it suddenly blurted, "Erny Melf!" I twirled around. "Who are you, and how do you know my name," I asked. "I'm Matthew Mac, santa's Christmas snowman. You must go back to the North Pole! The other elves may thin you're useless but in Santa's eyes, you're not," the snowman encouraged. "You're right," I boasted. "thanks Matth..." But the snowman was gone. "I mist go back! Santa needs me! Wait a second! It's Christmas Eve tomorrow!" Off I ran, at last I reached the North Pole. I ran into the toy factory, worked so hard that when I was finished I collapsed. The next morning I woke up with Santa at my feet. `You are my most loyal and best elf I have," Santa said. "Because of you, we're ahead of schedule!" "It's all because of Matther! You're Christmas The Holly Berry Once, was up in the Polar regions, lived Santa. He had many good working Elves, but there was one Santa favoured over all. This is her story, the story of the Holly Berry. It was another great day, snow sparkiling, and cheery music filled the air. There was only on difference. Today was Christmas Ever! Once Elf, Holly, was carrying a basket of berrys for some cookies the baking Elves were making, when she noticed an Elf she hadn't seen before. "Hmmm. I wonder what he's up to?" Holly wondered. "Curious, she followed him into Santa's office. Her eyes widened when she noticed the elf sneak a sleeping potion into Santa's coco, and run! Holly gasped as Santa took a sip, and then dozed off. She ran to him and tried everything to wake him, but he slept on. Defeated, Holly slumped in a chair, close to tears. "Christmas will be ruined." She whispered. Suddenly an idea came! It had worked in other story books, so why not? She dashed to Rudolph's stall, and whispered her plan. "Well, lets do it!" Rudolph said. A few minutes later, Holly and Rudolph set off to deliver the presents. When it was all done, Rudolph returned to his stall, and Holly went to Santa. "Holly!" said Santa who had woken up. After explaining, Holly waited for Santa's reply. "Holly, for your bravery, a Christmas berry will have your name, the Holly berry!" Santa cried. And that's the story! By Eryn Young Pengui's Adventure Crunch, crunch, crunch, went the snow under Pengui's feet. "Ooh lala!" said Pengui staring at the big red sleigh with the reindeer in the front. "Cool!" said Pengui. He climbed the big gold bars on this mysterious sleigh. He though about Santa and how it would be so cool to become one of his elves. Now this little penguin hopped into a big red sack with toys. Then he heard outside "ho ho ho off to the Bahamas." There was a lurch and a few seconds later the sleigh stopped, Pengui peeked out and saw that he was in the Bahamas. The first stop Santa made was at a little girl's house. Pengui hopped out curiously. Then the big jolly man left in the sleigh. Pengui waited for sunrise. Then this little chipmunk came running out circling around Pengui. "Hi... I'm... Chippy the chipmunk!!!," he said, sounding really hyper. `Oh Chippy, get away!" said a little girl. Then, the little girl said to Pengui "oh hello! What's your name?! Do you want to stay home with me? I would have to hide you from my mom but that;s just okay! By the way, I'm Lily!"
