"Why are they wasting money on something that's falling apart? They should build a new school in the north," said one. "If they do this I'll take my tax money to the public board. That's it, bye, bye," whispered another. By the time the Wednesday night meeting started, more than 200 people had gathered in the cafeteria of St. Ignatius of Loyola Secondary School to listen to the options presented by the boundary review committee, to have their questions answered and to have their own views heard. Before the meeting began it was clear that these views were diverse. "I like it this way," said Sarmad Gorial, gesturing to a diagram of the existing Catholic Secondary School attendance boundary. "This is better, not just from a parent's point of view, but from the point of view of an urban designer. The expansion is happening in the Trafalgar Rd.
