The CCAH and Town of Oakville will present a talk and dramatization by Byran and Shannon Prince from Buxton National Site and Museum from 6:30-8 p.m. in the South Atrium of Town Hall at 1225 Trafalgar Rd. Prince is an author of many books including I Came as a Stranger ...the Underground Railroad and recipient of the 2002 Queen's Golden Jubilee Award for work in Canadian Heritage. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted. Tea lovers fight AIDS for $Million or More Munn's annual Valentine's High Tea will be held on Sunday, Feb. 10. It will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at Munn's United Church, at Dundas and Sixth Line. The menu will include scones, clotted cream, strawberry jam, cucumber, salmon and asparagus sandwiches. The history of tea will be discussed and teas from around the world will be available for taste testing and buying. Tickets cost $8 through the church office at 905-257-8434. Proceeds will go to the Stephen Lewis Foundation in its continuing work to ease the pain of HIV/AIDS in Africa.
