12 - The Oakville Beaver Weekend, Saturday February 2, 2008 www.oakvillebeaver.com Kidtopia is a fantasy land of fun for your child Join Kito the monkey on his latest adventure and discover the land of Kidtopia. Oakville's newest indoor play facility and family entertainment centre, is a fantasy land of fun. This spacious, very clean 7500 square foot facility has it all from a large multi-level climbing structure with slides and play area, junior play area, gaming arcade, arts and crafts, cooking classes, party rooms, and a snack bar with healthy treats. "It's a place for kids to run around and go crazy," says Owner/Manager Susan Schulz. Designed for ages 0-12, children will have a blast at Kidtopia while they journey through the jungle, ride down a slide or let their imaginations soar with an arts and crafts class. When Schulz dreamt up the idea of Kidtopia, she wanted to create a paradise for kids. That's just what she's accomplished with an environment that's jungle themed throughout including murals, artificial foliage and palm trees, a blue slide featuring a projected image of a waterfall, and even crocodiles on the floor to step over. "We've made it look fabulous, it's so different." The décor is just one of the many reasons children go crazy for Kidtopia. They also love it because "it is a destination spot where they can come and relax, have fun, take in an arts and crafts class, and get the benefit of lots of exercise. Combining the classes with the play facility allows people to have one stop entertainment for their kids." Parents also love the convenient location, in the Oakville Entertainment Centrum (next to the AMC Theatres) located near the QEW & Winston Churchill. So they can enjoy some parent time while reserving a spot with Kidtopia's babysitting services. Kidtopia is open for public play seven days a week from 9 am 9 pm, giving parents the flexibility to drop in whenever it is convenient for them. Schulz says, "It is also a social place for stay at home parents or care givers to meet up and have coffee and watch their kids play." Let your children experience the land of Kidtopia that has lots of space for exciting, adventurous, safe indoor play for the whole family!
