Lloyd was born and raised in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia, and came to Toronto in 1959 where he pursued his first passion of music, which eventually led to a recording contract with RCA Records. Lloyd discovered his second passion later in life when he obtained his Real Estate license, and experienced such an overwhelming sense of fulfillment being able to help others! Lloyd leaves behind his best friend and loving wife of 38 years, Polly, son Greg, Burlington, daughters Paula Hargraves (Les), Pickering, and Colleen Foley (Neil), Burlington. Loving Grampa Lloyd to Lauren, Jessica, and Nathaniel, "special Grampa" to Brittney, and adored Grampa of Hannah. He is also survived by brother Stephen, Amherst, NS. Lloyd is predeceased by his parents, and sister. Lloyd will be dearly missed by his family, many friends, and colleagues. In accordance with Lloyd's wishes, cremation has already taken place and a Celebration of Lloyd's Wonderful Life will be held in the near future.
