Running your business every day demands your fullest attention, how then can you also have the time to ensure that it is kept safe from the outside factors that could seek to damage, or even cripple it? After twenty-three years of incorporating businesses, The Business Advisory / The Tax Advisory Inc. decided to establish a separate division called The Incorporators to ensure that businesses would be incorporated in a professional manner at a reasonable cost and contain a capital stock structures that would provide maximum flexibility in the personal and corporate income tax planning of the shareholders of the corporation. The Incorporators is committed to incorporating companies the right way the first time while providing the best of the legal, business and income tax planning processes. The Business Advisory/The Tax Advisory Inc. was established on June 30, 1983 to serve small and home-based businesses who, up to that time, had very few affordable options when it came to obtaining advice on how to grow their businesses or finding solutions to their business problems. The Business Advisory/The Tax Advisory Inc., as the name implies, has two distinct divisions; The Business Advisory to advise clients on business issues and The Tax Advisory to provide effective corporate and personal income tax planning expertise which ensures that only those taxes payable under the law are paid. At the present time, Ed has in excess of one hundred and thirty-five businesses and over four hundred personal income tax clients to which he gives his personal attention. Ed positioned his Company's fees at an hourly rate equal to one third of that in the marketplace in order to make them more affordable to his clients. In addition, in order to keep himself abreast of his client's business affairs, he informed his clients that they would not be charged for telephone calls. In this way, his clients are not reluctant to call when they have a problem and it provides Ed with another opportunity to stay close to his clients. Prior to establishing The Business Advisory and The Tax Advisory, Ed had 21 years proven corporate experience at both the domestic and international levels in the private and public sectors. He held the positions of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Assistant General Manager, Director of Manufacturing, Director of Operations and Director of New Business Development. These positions provided him with the experience necessary to serve his clients with a high level of competence. In each of these positions, Ed was always responsible for the overall income tax planning of his employers, generating hundreds of thousand of dollars in income tax savings in the process. The foregoing, combined with his knowledge of personal income tax legislation, provided Ed with the experience, knowledge and background to bring a high level of income tax planning and preparation expertise to his clients. Ed is a member of the Oakville Chamber of Commerce and recently sat on its HomeBased, Small Business, Strategic Marketing, Marketing and Small Business Week com- mittees.
