The concert is possible through the support of Civitan International, Service Clubs Council of Oakville, Kinsmen Canada, Optimist International, Kiwanis International, and Lions Club International. ROCK is a non-profit organization working to support children, youths and families in realizing their full potential as members of the community. With four locations in Oakville, Burlington, and Milton, ROCK offers services like therapy, walk-in clinics, trauma treatment, crisis response programming, as well as prevention programs like Youth Aiding Youth and Community Development. All services provide critical assistance to youths from newborn to 17 years of age. To help support ROCK, Witter will visit Oakville for a one-night benefit concert. Whether he is known for his country music, contemporary Christian, or the music of Billy Joel and Elton John, Witter's versatility as an artist has allowed him the opportunity to reach out and share his music and his infectious personality with audiences of all ages across Canada and the United States. Most recently remembered for The Piano Men, Witter has received numerous awards and nominations from the Canadian Country Music Association, the Juno Awards, and most recently the Dove Awards in Nashville. The Long and Winding Road is a multi-media stage event that will explore the sometimes uplifting, sometimes tumultuous relationship between John Lennon and Paul McCartney, and delves into the stories behind many of their songs.
