Gypsy Moth Workshop Saturday, April 5, 2008, 12 ­ 2 p.m. Following the April 5 meeting, the Town of Oakville and Bronte Creek Provincial Park will host a free Gypsy Moth Workshop for residents and private woodland owners on ways to control the insect. Pine Glen Park is located at the southeast corner of Pine Glen Road and Third Line (south of Dundas Street). Information from this meeting, along with the proposed Request for Proposal process will be presented to Council at its meeting of May 5, 2008, at which time Council will make a decision on this project. Input gathered from this interim meeting will be used in the final report with recommendations on new Official Plan and transportation policies, future infrastructure improvements, and implementation mechanisms that will guide future land use and development processes. The primary study area covers the portion of the Uptown Core west of Trafalgar Road. It includes the lands bounded by Trafalgar Road, Dundas Street, Sixth Line and Glenashton Drive.
