Doug was a long time resident of Bronte and a dedicated long term employee of Monsanto. Doug spent many years caring for his mother Margaret until her passing. Doug's kindness and generosity extended to other family members whom he shared his home with as well as care for in their times of need. Doug enjoyed all sports particularly golf, baseball and bowling. He also had a great passion for music and had a wonderful singing voice. The youngest of eight, Doug is predeceased by his family Tim, Tink, Wes, Molly, Nancy, Mona and Connie. He is also predeceased by his niece Baby Mona and nephew Billy. Doug leaves behind several nieces and nephews and their families and will be dearly missed. Cremation has taken place. A Service of Remembrance will be held Thursday April 17th at 7:00pm in the Condominium Meeting Room, first floor at 5280 Lakeshore Road, Burlington.
