Drug raid nets charges A pair of Oakville residents are facing numerous drug related charges after police raided a home on Marine Drive. Members of the Halton Police Drug and Morality Bureau, Guns and Gangs Unit and Tactical Response Unit flocked to 2390 Marine Dr. on Thursday at 4 a.m. where they executed a controlled drugs and substances search warrant. Police said the raid netted more than $4,000 in cash, as well as seven ounces of cocaine valued at $7,000. One ounce of marijuana valued at $180 was also found. Justin Cory Gallant, 27, of Marine Drive, is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, one count of trafficking and three counts of possession. Tiffany Bawden, 24, of Marine Drive, is also facing two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and three counts of possession in connection with the raid. The Halton Regional Police Service is continuing to investigate this incident.
