Parents dropping off their children in the morning were greeted by more than 250 orange balloons lining the school's circular drive. The event was the culmination of Spirit Month in which the students focused on the themes of dignity, equity and respect. Each of the first period classes in the school, regardless of grade, had the same lesson devoted to discussion and strategies around the concept of rejecting bullying.
