Shortly after 7 p.m. on May 1, an unknown male entered the Real Canadian Superstore located at 201 Oak Park Dr. and stole two televisions from the electronics department. The suspect selected the two units then brazenly proceeded out through the front doors without making any attempt to pay. The suspect made his way to a awaiting vehicle, placed the two TVs inside the vehicle and then fled the area. The stolen TVs are described as a 19-inch RCA LCD/DVD and a 26inch Citizen LCD. The suspect is described as a white male between 18 and 25 years old. He was clean shaven with a medium build and wearing a black longsleeved shirt, jeans and a black baseball hat. The suspect vehicle is described as a beige coloured passenger van bearing personalized Ontario licence plate WETECH. Further investigation by Police determined that the plate(s) had been stolen off a different vehicle in Burlington. Total loss in the incident is estimated at $850.
