www.oakvillebeaver.com The Oakville Beaver, Wednesday May 28, 2008 - 23 New jazz band holding first fundraising concert A new youth jazz band that has been rehearsing throughout winter is making its debut at a fundraising concert on May 30 at Glen Abbey United Church, 1469 Nottinghill Gate from 7:30 to 9 p.m. High Rendition Jazz is comprised of 19 high school students from across Halton and is under the direction of Brian Vincent, musical educator at T.A. Blakelock High School. The band already has four performances booked for the summer starting with the Relay for Life at Appleby College, followed by shows at the main library in downtown Oakville, the Waterfront Festival and the Oakville Jazz Festival.
