Predeceased by her loving husband Jack and beloved son John. Mum will always be remembered loved and greatly missed by her daughters Rosemary, Diane (husband Colin), Shirley (husband Paul) and Toni (daughter-in-law), as well as her eight grandchildren, Christopher (Heather), Jodi (Brian), Andrew, Colin, Matthew, Sean, Nicole, and Dale whom she loved so much. Also, family in England and Australia, Margaret Barless (sister-in-law), and the many friends she made at the Oakville Senior Citizens Residence in Bronte will miss Ann. The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses (E-3 Oncology) at the Juravinski Cancer Clinic and Henderson Hospital in Hamilton. We cannot thank you enough for the stellar care that you gave our Mum in her final days...we will be forever grateful to you. We would also like to thank the Oakville Senior Citizens Residence for their care of our Mum and the many years of happiness you gave her living at OSCR. After cremation, a service will be held at the Church of the Epiphany, 141 Bronte Rd., Oakville, on Tuesday, May 27th, at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated for the Juravinski Cancer Clinic in Hamilton or the Church of Epiphany in Oakville. Obituaries JOHNSTON, NINA ­ passed away on May 22, 2008 after a brief illness at Brampton Civic Hospital. Predeceased by her loving husband William Keith Johnston. Nina leaves her sons Terry (Patsi), Donald (Corey), Bill, Brian (Diane) and Greg (Janice). She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Emily, Jeremy, Keith, Katie, Curtis, Alex and Maggie. She also leaves her sister Ludmilla, and nephews Sergei and Leonid all of Kharkov, Ukraine. A memorial was held in Brampton on May 25. Being of Russian birth, Nina was a survivor. She was displaced during WWII at a very young age and was never again to see her parents or homeland. Through sheer force of character and will she came to Canada on her own and raised a large family, settling in Oakville in 1962. She will be sorely missed by those who knew her, but she will never be forgotten in our hearts. VANDEN BROEK, Denise ElizabethOn Friday, May 23, 2008 at her residence in her 47th year. Beloved wife of Mike, loving mother of Brian (Emily), and Andrew. Grandmother of Lily. Cherished daughter of Ena and Doug Daniel, and daughter-in-law of John and Joanne Vanden Broek. Survived by her brother Colin (Sandra) and sister Marlene (Ian). Denise will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family and friends.
