Stenason took more than a second off the previous best in the junior girls' 200-metres. She won in a time of 29.46 seconds, eclipsing the record of 30.93. She also won the 100m in a record time of 13.61 seconds beating the previous standard of 14.34. Stenason recorded her third victory in the high jump, clearing 1.25m. Forest Trail classmate Khaleel Griffiths also had a big day, winning three events and breaking the meet record in the junior boys' 200m. Griffiths posted a time of 30.14 seconds, shaving one-hundredth of a second off the previous meet standard. Griffiths also won the 100m (14.12) and 400m (1:11.00) races. Those performances helped Forest Trail sweep the junior division pennants. They were not the only record breakers, though. Forest Trail's David Watson took more than 20 seconds off the intermediate boys' 1500m record, winning in 5:04.57. Watson also won the 800m in 2:40.92. New Central's Mitchell Shannon set a new mark in senior boys' shot put with a toss of 12.19m, topping the previous record of 11.20m.
