www.oakvillebeaver.com The Oakville Beaver, Wednesday June 25, 2008 - 27 Crowd pleasers Local playwright taking part in Fringe Festival Oakville native Renna Reddie is the playwright of an all-female production called Guilty Pleasure, which debuts at this year's Toronto Fringe Festival. The show follows five ladies who are waiting in anticipation and in line for aerobics classes at a local Toronto community centre. They vary in age and live different lifestyles, but they come together in force of femininity and reality about sex, relationships, media and movement. The actors perform the show while standing in a line, which serves both as a cheap set design and a metaphor to real life needs and desires. This comedy includes nudity, strong language and perspectives. The show is 55 minutes long. The show runs from July 3 to 13 at Royal St. George, 120 Howland Ave. Tickets cost $10. For tickets or information, call the Fringe HotLine at 416-966-1062 or visit www.fringe.com.
