Beloved husband of Dorothy Lynn Carroll (Buck) and dear son of Margaret Irene Carroll of Tillsonburg. Predeceased by his father J.B. Carroll (1994). Dear brother to Gay Henniger (Ross) of Addison, Ontario; Jackie Carroll Goldstein (Lenzo) of Malibu, Ca.; Pat Carroll (Liz) and Robin Carroll (Lisa) both of Tillsonburg. Dear brother-in-law to Barbara Paul (Ken); Betty Dukes (Pat); Mary McEwen (Tom) and Jimmy Buck (Julie) of the Ottawa area and Val O'Leary and Vera Buck of Sherwood Park, AB. Cherished Uncle to several nieces and nephews. Special Godfather to Caitlyn, Leia, Tyler and Leslie. Sorely missed by cherished cats Sable, Mig, Addington, Simon, Garfunkle and Cedric (2008). Jon's unique character will be sadly missed by his many friends and family. He was a member of the International Society of Explosives Engineers. REA, Loreto- Passed away peacefully and unexpectedly in his cherished home on Monday, July 21st 2008 at the age of 82. Loreto was the beloved husband of Tullia (Margaret), and loving father to Anna (Pat), Liesa (Enzo), Frank, and Tony (Lisa). He was the proudest Nonno to his grandchildren Mathew, Stephanie, Michelle and Thomas. He is survived by his sisters Anna, Elena and Raffaelina, as well as, his brother Giuseppe. Loreto was a proud member of UAW Local 707, and the Oakville Italian Club where he enjoyed playing Bocce Ball and being surrounded by his friends. He was also a longtime employee of Ford Mo-tor Company for over 36 years. Loreto was a man of all trades from his avid gardening, to his wine making, and bread baking. He took great pride in all that he did and shared with those around him. Loreto was a very kind and gentle soul who shared a part of his heart with everyone he met, and was never too busy to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was an inspiration to all those who had the great fortune of knowing him. His greatest treasure was his family who admired him for his wisdom and simplicity. Loreto was a true reflection of God's love and he will be greatly missed by all of his family, relatives, neighbours and friends. Loreto's smile and genuine love will resonate in our hearts forever.
