30 - The Oakville Beaver, Wednesday August 6, 2008 www.oakvillebeaver.com Final concert of the summer on Sunday, Aug. 17 at 3 p.m. Intrada Brass of Oakville will perform its last free concert of the summer on Sunday, Aug. 17 at 3 p.m. on the Waterfront Stage at Coronation Park. The concerts are part of the group's outreach strategy, which will give people the opportunity to hear the band without buying a ticket at the box office. "We have just completed our fourth season at the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts, but there are a lot of people who haven't heard us yet," said Doug Field, IBO's general manager. "We're hoping these free concerts on the Waterfront Stage will be our introduction to a lot more people." The music will get people's toes tapping, according to Bram Gregson, music director. "There will be a lot of music people already know and love, but there will also be a few surprises," he said. "The concerts will be 100 per cent entertainment."
