Police are investigating several incidents in which thieves entered unlocked garages overnight, stealing bicycles, golf clubs, cameras and computers. GPS systems and purses have also been stolen from unlocked vehicles in garages. Police said the incidents all involved males in their late teens riding bicycles. Residents should: close and lock all garage doors, ground floor doors and windows before going to bed at night; not to leave spare house keys in vehicles; keep vehicles locked at all times; park cars in the garage; activate any home alarms before going to bed; have someone check your home during your vacation.
