30 - The Oakville Beaver, Friday September 12, 2008 www.oakvillebeaver.com IN THE LINE OF DUTY: At the first annual cops for Cancer fundraiser held at Milton Mall Saturday, members of the RCMP, OPP, Halton Regional Police Service, Emergency Medical Services, the Milton Fire Department and Ministry of Corrections, all took up the challenge and had their heads shaved or legs waxed to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. Here, Halton Regional Police Service Constable Rebecca Jobe, who works in Oakville, not only donated her 12-inch locks to make a wig for a cancer patient, but also raised more than $2,000 in pledges by having her head shaved. Here, the Oakville Beaver photographer caught the procedure, step by step as Jobe remained good natured throughout it all. Going, going, gone PHOTOS BY GRAEME PAINE / OAKVILLE BEAVER
