30 - The Oakville Beaver, Wednesday September 24, 2008 www.oakvillebeaver.com Curlers sought for bonspiel to benefit cystic fibrosis research Calling All Curlers to take part in the Oakville Kinsmen third annual Curling for a Cure bonspiel on Wednesday, Oct. 1. The fundraiser in aid of cystic fibrosis (CF) research will take place at the Oakville Curling Club. Lunch will be provided. Participants will brush up on their curling skills and compete in two draws. Guest speaker will be author and motivational speaker, Kim MacGregor who has co-authored an inspirational women's book, Be ... a Woman: Expressions of Life, which won a 2008 Independent Book Publishing Award. MacGregor is also a children's book writer and a portion of the proceeds from the sale of her books is going towards finding a cure for CF.
