Devoted grandfather of Connor, Leia, Charlotte, Jack, Alyssa, Helena and Griffin. He will be greatly missed by his step-children, Helen (Jim) and Philip (Linda) and their children, Jeffery, Kate and William. Also survived by his brother John (Liz) and others in his family. Peter was for merly Vice President at DuPont Canada and was a dedicated volunteer in many organizations in Oakville. Respecting Peter's wishes, he was cremated and there will be no visitation or funeral service. A Celebration of Peter's Life will take place on Sunday, October 5, 2008 from 2-5 p.m. at the Burlington Golf and Countr y Club, 422 Nor th Shore East, Burlington. In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial contributions to the Oakville-Trafalgar Memor ial Hospital, 327 Reynolds Street, Oakville, ON L6J 3J7 specifically for the Renal Dialysis Unit who kept Peter going for the past ten years. The family would like to send a special thanks to the Nephrologists, nurses and staff of the Dialysis Unit for their care and compassion over this period of time. Email condolences may be made through www.koprivataylor.com WEIDO, Ray William George- Ray William George Weido, Oakville, Ontario, in his 85th year, passed away peacefully at Georgetown Hospital on Tuesday September 23, 2008. He was p r e d e c e a s e d by h i s b e l ove d w i fe, Shirley Agnes Weido (Doran), and his two brothers, Vyr ne of Dashwood, Lloyd Weido of Florida, his father, Elmer, and mother, Laura Weido (Stephan). Ray served in the Royal Canadian Air Force, and later became a Superintendent for Link Belt, then became a Building Inspector. His last position was the Building Zoning Enforcement Director for Halton Region. Ray served as secretary for 15 years for the Ontario Building Officials Association. He will be dearly missed by his neighbours, family, and especially Gar y Estabrooks and Liz Ferguson who were like family to him. Survived by his nephew, Larry Weido of Grand Bend, and many other nieces, nephew s, a n d c o u s i n s i n t h e U S A a n d Canada. A small Memorial Gathering will be held at the Oakview Funeral Home, 56 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville (905 842 2252) on Tuesday October 7, 2008 from 1-3 pm. TURNER, Sheila nee Milliner On September 29, 2008 Sheila closed her eyes and left this world holding the hand of Tom, her beloved husband of 52 yrs. She was a loving, beautiful, intelligent, caring and brave woman until the end and her death has left many with heavy hearts. A devoted mother to Janet (Frank) and Chris (Carolyn). Loving Grandmother to Christopher, Amanda (Darin), Andrew (Andreah), Lauren, Joshua, Carson, Addison, B r o d i e, Te n e s s e e, G i d e o n , R i ve r, Chance and Brighton. Gran to Kalia, Olivia and Ryleigh. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her much joy and they now have a special guardian angel watching over them.
