8- The Oakville Beaver, Wednesday October 15, 2008 www.oakvillebeaver.com HALLOWEEN CAMPOUT: Bronte Creek Provincial Park will celebrate Halloween camper style with its new Camper Halloween program on Saturday, Oct. 25. Registered campers are invited to decorate their campsite and trick-or-treat around the campground...then join the park naturalist for a Creepy Hike. Participants will discover cool facts about many misunderstood night creatures including coyotes. All of the senses will be on alert as they walk the trail in search of the perfect coyote habitat. A guide will instruct participants on how to howl for coyotes....and maybe get a response from the park's resident pack. The event is suitable for school-aged children and their parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles. It is not suitable for family pets. Participants should dress appropriately for the weather. Exact details will be available upon registration at the campground office. This Halloween event is only for registered campers, who will trick or treat around the campground. Ghosts and goblins will go from site to site instead of door to door and get in the spirit by decorating their own tent or trailer. Camping fee is $34.40/night. Reserve today by calling 1-888-668-7275. The event will be held in the Campground Area, which is accessible off Bronte Road and Upper Middle.
