All ages are welcome to attend. Take a bus tour of Oakville's urban forest and hear remarkable tales about local trees that you won't forget. Visit several remarkable trees, hear stories about local heroes of our urban forest and see a few interesting projects to improve tree health. A packed lunch will be provided to everyone on the tour. Town honours heritage tree hunt winners The winners of the Oakville Great Heritage Tree Hunt will be honoured tonight (Wednesday) at Town Hall. A celebration will be held at 7 p.m. in the South Atrium of Town Hall located at 1225 Trafalgar Rd. It will honour the winners of the Great Heritage Tree Hunt Nomination and Photo Contest co-hosted by the Town of Oakville and Oakvillegreen Conservation Association. It aimed to find exceptional examples of heritage trees in the community. Residents of all ages were invited to nominate or photograph trees in any of 18 categories.
