Andrew Blanchard, investment advisor at Oakville Investment Planning Council (IPC) Securities Corporation, says, "It appears that the world economy is indeed entering a very rough patch and we are most certainly facing daunting challenges. But it's important to remember that we've been here before. "At times like these there may be value in revisiting your long term objectives, going over your cash needs and reviewing the plan you have in place to achieve your retirement goals," said Blanchard, who will be speaking at the show and answering attendees' questions on a one-on-one basis. Guest speaker and Canada's most recognized hockey dad, Walter Gretzky will discuss his experience with hearing loss and the importance of getting a hearing test. In addition, other speakers will also discuss retirement-related topics such as travel, health, and nutrition. Admission to the show is $10 and tickets can be purchased at the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts' box office by calling 905-8152021.
