The plan calls for a 2.4 metre wide, asphalt, multi-use walkway, which would extend from Rebecca Street to South Shell Park. This walkway was actually in the process of being built when it was discovered by Ward 1 Councillor Ralph Robinson that many area residents had not received proper notification that the project was on the table. These residents are now being given the opportunity to have their concerns heard during a public meeting scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 4, at 7 p.m. This meeting will take place at Walton Memorial Church, located at 2489 Lakeshore Rd. W. Christmas skate at Appleby College Appleby College will host its annual Community Christmas Skate on Sunday, Dec. 7. The event will take place from 25 p.m. in Appleby's J.S.
