Trio of masked bandits rob adult novelty shop Halton Regional Police are investigating the robbery of the Love Shop, 2544 Speers Rd., by three masked men Saturday night. Police said the robbery took place shortly before midnight when three men, all wearing bandannas to cover their faces, entered the adult novelty store. The trio confronted a loan male employee, at which point one suspect indicated he was carrying a weapon. The robbers forced the employee to the ground and left with an undetermined amount of cash and various products from the store shelves. Halton police responded shortly afterwards, but a search of the area with a canine unit yielded no suspects. No one was injured during the robbery and no weapon was actually seen. Halton Police Public Affairs Officer Sgt. Brian Carr confessed to being mystified by the suspects' choice of target. "It's kind of an unusual one," said Sgt. Carr. "I mean, what are you going to find at the Love Shop?" The first suspect is described as black, 5foot-10 with a muscular build and wearing a black bandanna over his face, as well as a black hoodie, black winter jacket and dark pants. The second suspect is described as white, 5-foot-9, with a tanned complexion, a medium build and wearing a red bandanna over his face along with a black hoodie, a dark winter jacket and dark pants. The third suspect could not be described. The Halton Regional Police Service is continuing to investigate this incident.
