Registered Holistic Nutritionist (R.H.N.) REGISTER NOW FOR MARCH DAY & EVENING CLASSES New Optometrist in Bronte Having been practicing optometry for over 25 years, Dr. Karen Smith has an extensive background in many different services. At her practice she offers complete Family Vision Care, including eye health assessments, Laser vision consultation, Visual Perceptual testing, and a full range of eyeglasses and contact lenses. After 17 successful years in North Oakville, Dr. Smith moved her practice to the Bronte area last summer, where she continues to serve her existing patients and welcome new ones. To introduce herself to her new community, Dr. Smith held an open house in October at her new office, in celebration of National Eye Health Month. The open house was used as an opportunity to meet Dr. Smith and her great staff Phyllis and Gail as well as to tour the facility. Having made a commitment to support the Gift of Sight Program, Dr. Smith and her staff had asked everyone who attended the open house to bring their old glasses to be donated to the program. To date, hundreds of used glasses have been sorted, measured, and repaired and sent off to Optical Missions in developing countries. For an appointment, please call 905-8273937 or drop by the office at 2425 Marine Dr., in Bronte. Bring in your old eyewear as well, to donate to the Gift of Sight Program.
