Oakville went undefeated in round-robin play, defeating Belleville 1-0 and West Northumberland 4-3 while tying the Oshawa Lady Generals 3-3, to earn a berth in the final. The Hornets extended the host Bearcats to overtime in the title game before falling in a shootout. Oakville had forced overtime with two goals in the final two minutes of the game and with its goaltender pulled for an extra attacker. It was the second tournament final appearance of the season for the Hornets, who won the Whitby Tournament of Heroes last month.
