The news upon turning 10 is difficult for Sue Logan who founded Clothing Works with Joanne Farrow, Gay Drinkwalter and Helen Gareau. Gareau had a friend who "We need that one charitable person to hear our story and help us." Jan Prange, co-chair Clothing Works started a similar program in London, Ontario. Similar programs offered in the U.S. were called Dress for Success. All clothing donated to Clothing Works must be in good condition, clean and ready-to-wear business attire. Donations can include pants, blouses, skirts, jackets, tailored suits, dresses, scarves, belts, jewelry, good wearable fashionable shoes, new unopened cosmetics, new unopened panty- hose, coats and handbags. Women's organizations, service clubs and businesses, can get involved by participating in Clothing Works Rack'n Roll program. A rack is brought to a meeting location or office, where donors can fill it with donated clothing. Cash donations are also accepted. However at the moment, it's the premises that is most needed by Clothing Works. "If we don't find a space, we'll have to go into storage and close services until we find somewhere," said Logan.
