Students of the world-renowned Music Theatre -- Performance Program at Sheridan College will again strut their stuff to raise money for their Student Emergency Fund. Last year's Stepping Up!, featuring original choreography from the second-year dance critiques, was sold out and raised more than $2,000. Doors will open at 7 p.m., the bar will be open and curtain time will be 7:30 p.m. in the MacDonald-Heaslip Hall, Sheridan College, Trafalgar Campus on Trafalgar Road. This year's concert will combine selected Dance Critiques with highlights from the Pop Critiques of the graduating class. The Dance Critiques are original creations of the Music Theatre -- Performance students, some of whom will go on to become professional choreographers. The Pop Critiques are nightclub performances by third-year students, featuring current hits and some striking original pieces, accompanied by the live sound of the Stepping Up Band under the direction of Alan Poaps.
