More than 300 students and staff took turns on the stationary bikes in the school's third annual R4D, a seven-hour bike-a-thon, to raise funds for education and action regarding the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Africa. Appleby College is the first and only school in North America to host this event.The school was hoping to raise more than $30,000 at the event.
