ALS fundraiser next Thursday All proceeds going to family In Celebration of Friendship is a benefit evening being held on Thursday, March 26 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the OE Banquet Hall & Conference Centre, 2245 Speers Rd. The evening will feature food, fun and the Celtic music of Fiddlestix. The event will raise funds for Ian Sanderson, who has Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). ALS is a merciless fatal disease that will render Ian incapable of movement, including eating and breathing. The Sanderson home requires immediate extensive renovations so that Ian can be properly and lovingly cared for by family as his condition deteriorates.
