Oakville band wins contest Alright Alright tops in Metroland's Battle of Bands competition Oakville band Alright Alright has emerged as the victor of Metroland's Best of the West Battle of the Bands competition. The group edged out Burlington's We Are Bravest and Milton's No Reason to Stay in the final championship round. Alright Alright takes home the top prize of a spot in the lineup at Burlington's Sound of Music Festival this summer. The winning group will also be featured in Metroland papers in the Halton region. Band members are Curtis Courtemanche, Dave McCamus, Omar Saab and Graeme Moffatt. The group has recently released their first demo disc and are busy performing regular concerts.
