17 · OAKVILLE BEAVER Wednesday, April 8, 2009 Kid-A-Palooza at Town Hall On Saturday April 18, Oakville's Oak Park Moms & Tots will host Kid-A-Palooza, a children's fair, at Town Hall on Trafalgar Road. The event, which will run 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., will include such services as a kids outdoor play area, kids music and performing arts programs, kids and family support programs, family fitness programs and more. Admission is free for all families. Oak Park Moms & Tots Centre began as a small group of six mothers in 1999, and has grown to support 350 families, spreading across many parts of Oakville, not just Oak Park. It focuses on serving families who live in north Oakville (north of Upper Middle Road) but everyone is welcome. Moms, dads, grandparents and caregivers all attend its programs. The centre provides a venue for neighbours to meet and support one other. The programs provided are a reflection of what members have requested and rely on the support of nearly 60 volunteers.
