Assault suspect wouldn't take no for an answer Halton Regional Police are investigating a violent assault against an Oakville man on on April 24. Shortly after 9 a.m., a female was walking in the area of St. Ignatius Loyola Secondary School, 1550 Nottinghill Gate when she was approached by an unknown male who asked for a cigarette. When she replied no, the suspect asked the female to accompany him to the store. When the female again turned him down, the suspect became agitated and grabbed her wrist. A brief struggle ensued, but, the victim freed herself and ran away. The victim was not injured. The suspect is described as east Indian with a dark complexion, approximately 23 years old. He was six-feet tall with a slim build, weighing 175 pounds with long black hair that was pulled back into a ponytail at the base of the neck. He had dark coloured eyes and a slight moustache. He was wearing a black jacket, a black hooded sweater, dark coloured blue jean trousers and a faded scarf item referred to as a "doo rag" in the back pocket of his trousers and black coloured running shoes.
