13 · OAKVILLE BEAVER Friday, May 29, 2009 Oakville Hospital Foundation Gets A Double Donation Mandy Walsh, on behalf of the Oakville Hospital Foundation recently received a $3,000 donation from Mary and Roy Spriggs of Spriggs Insurance and a matching gift of $3,000 from Stephanie Dunn of Gore Mutual Insurance Company Foundation. The $6,000 will go towards the purchase of two new ultrasounds for the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital (OTMH). Look Who's Coming To Dinner... The OTMH Candlelight Ball, presented by Barrington's of Oakville and Murron's Cabintree, has long been one of Oakville's most popular social occasions. Since 1992, the Candlelight Ball has raised more than $3.3 million, providing OTMH with state of the art, life saving, medical equipment! In 2009, we expect to reach new heights, as we partner with not one, but TWO renowned Canadian Chef's to deliver an evening of mingling, dancing and FINE dining! Breakfast, cocktails, dinner and an award ceremony are part of the festivities for the day, concluding with a DJ dance party that ends at midnight. Prizes will be awarded to the top fundraising crew. This year we have planned several registration sessions where the OTMH Regatta volunteers will be on hand to help you register your crew for this year's Regatta.
