OAKVILLE BEAVER Friday, May 29, 2009 · 28 Genealogical society conference at Sheridan this weekend The Ontario Genealogical Society (OGS) will hold its 2009 conference, hosted by the Halton-Peel Branch, at Sheridan College May 2931. The conference will feature 10 Friday workshops, a marketplace, and 35 sessions with renowned international speakers. Speakers at the event will include Marg Aldridge, Sherilyn Bell, Ruth Blair, Colin and Elizabeth Briggs, Ruth Burkholder, Richard Doherty, Dr. David Elliott, Robert Fizzell, Alison Hare, Shirley Hodges, Jane MacNamara, Sharon Murphy, Patricia McGregor, Dave Obee, Janice Nickerson, Kathie Orr, Marian Press, Gary Schroder, Louise St. Denis, Fawne Stratford-Devai, Tammy Tipler-Priolo, J. Richard Houston. The feature speaker will be Kory L. Meyerink, an adjunct history faculty member for Brigham Young University's Salt Lake Center and a founding director of the Salt of Institute Lake Genealogy. A Saturday plenary session will be hosted by J.
