Ian spent two months building the bar in his driveway, helping their team, the Shaynanigans, win best tent site for the fifth year in a row. Centre, from left, Amanda Fox and Carolyn Wilkie, and Owen Melia, (Barney), Mackenzie Fox (Fred),of Bills Belles came from Bedrock hoping to make cancer extinct and won best costume at Relay; sisters Jen and Laura McGuire -- members of Happy Feet, which has raised more than $22,000 -- light luminaries for their grandma who passed away with ovarian cancer two years ago and their Grammie and Grandpa who are living with cancer; four-year-old survivor Emma Thompson-Carter and double survivor Ted Kersey, 85. At left, the word `Hope' spelled out in luminaries that offered encouragement for those fighting cancer and a salute to those who fought the disease. The event's top teams to date include: Happy Feet, Team Alex, Shaynanigan's, Scotia McLeod Oakville and F3-Friends/Family/Funds, which together have raised (to date) $81,574. The Best Team Spirit award went to Team Caterpillar.
