Bats are beneficial to humans, so don't miss a chance to spend an evening with the bats this summer at Mountsberg's annual Bat Nights from 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, July 25 and Saturday, Aug. 8. Watch as bats drop from their daytime roost to begin their nightly hunting for insects. Get up close and personal with a live bat and learn more about these fascinating, but misunderstood mammals. This family event also includes activities such as a puppet play, storytelling, and games. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required. Cost is $12 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under.
