The new by-laws take effect August 31, 2009. And take notice that any person or organization may appeal both or either of these by-laws to the Ontario Municipal Board under Section 14 of the Act by filing a notice of appeal with the Town Clerk on or before September 21, 2009. Such notice of appeal shall set out the objection to the by-law and the reasons supporting the objection. The town-wide development charges rate is imposed on all lands within the Town of Oakville subject to the provisions of the by-laws therefore no key map is provided. The storm water management charge applies only to lands south of Dundas Street as shown on the map to the right. Copies of By-laws 2009-118 and 2009-119 are available at www.oakville.ca/devcharges.htm or in the offices of the Town Clerk, 1225 Trafalgar Road, during regular office hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
