Officials investigate at the scene. Second GO fatality For the second time in a week, a pedestrian was struck and killed by a GO train after walking onto the tracks at Fourth Line. Halton Regional Police were called to the level railway tracks crossing at Fourth Line, near Speers Road, shortly after 6 p.m. Monday. A pedestrian had walked onto tracks in front of the train resulting in fatal injuries. Trains were stopped in both directions from approximately 6:20-8:20 p.m. and GO Transit organized shuttle buses to transport passengers around the scene of the accident and ensuing investigation. The victim, a male, is believed to be in his 80s. Last week, a 34-year-old Oakville woman was killed at the same crossing after she, too, walked onto the tracks.
