Graduated from Furman and Acadia Universities. Keith worked at the B.A. and later the Gulf Oil Refiner y in Clarkson. Long-time member and past president of the Oakville Kiwanis Club. Active in St. John's United Church for over 50 years. In later life, Keith greatly enjoyed time with his cherished wife Mary in their home and on their numerous travels. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Sunrise Senior Living and the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital for their compassionate care. Memorial Service to be held Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 11 a.m. at St. John's United Church, 262 Randall Street, Oakville. Harley moved to Ontario in 1960 from Grand Pre, NS where he was born. Harley was an owner/ operator and drove truck for over 40 years. Harley leaves behind his sons Rob, Rick and Randy, and his daughter Jill. While Harley was fighting his last fight, it was his friend Don who brought some happiness into his days by his daily visits with his dog Blue. Harley's Ford family may not have been permitted to pay their Last Respects to him in person due to his spouse's wishes, but he knows now how thankful we were to have had him in our lives.
