Double robbery suspect caught Halton police have arrested a man in connection with two hold ups at the same gas station in less than 24 hours. The Petro Canada gas station at Iroquois Shore Road was robbed by a man who indicated he was armed with a gun, at 10:34 p.m. on Oct. 7. The same gas station was held up the next day at 4:34 p.m. Police officers were alerted shortly after the second robbery and a foot chase resulted in the arrest of a suspect nearby. One Halton police officer was injured during the foot chase and has been treated and released from hospital. The Halton Regional Police K-9 Unit assisted in the chase and subsequent search for a weapon. Despite the search, no weapon was found.
