Rangers, Hornets take out the trash The Oakville bantam AE Rangers and peewee A Hornets recently joined forces to take out the trash. As part of the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation's Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup, the two hockey teams recently spent an afternoon cleaning up McCraney Creek Trail. The Rangers and Hornets collected more than 30 pounds of garbage. Some of the odd items they came across were a basketball, a pool liner, a lawn chair, golf clubs and cell phones. The TD Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup is one of the largest conservation initiatives of the Vancouver Aquarium. Started in 1994 by a handful of Vancouver Aquarium employees, the program is now the second-largest environment cleanup program in the world. garage sales A GARAGE SALE Ad in the BurlingtonBeaver OAKVILLE Post!
