Communicating Doors Intrada Brass concert Sunday Intrada Brass of Oakville, one of Canada's outstanding brass and percussion ensembles, will be kicking off its sixth season, Sunday, Oct. 25. A concert is slated for 2:30 p.m. at Glen Abbey United Church located at 1469 Nottinghill Gate. Admission to this concert is by free will offering, with 50 per cent of the proceeds being donated to Oakville Fareshare food bank. Since 1988, the Fareshare food bank has been operating entirely by the work of volunteers. All money and food donated goes directly to those in need. In this first concert of the season, entitled Winners, Intrada Brass will feature two young brass players, who were recent winners of the Young Brass Players' Competition as well as some of the ensembles' virtuoso soloists. Intrada Brass presents music of all genres from jazz and pop to the classics and has gained a reputation for its unique programming and presentation.
