Virginia visited over 127 countries and most of the major, and minor, sights in the world. Whether to groups or individuals, via her weekly travel radio show on CHWO, or in her column in the Oakville Beaver she was always enthusiastic about the world she lived in. She shared her love of gardening, decorating, riding (fox hunting), art and music g e n e r o u s l y w i t h f r i e n d s a n d f a m i l y. Married to Thorvald Andresen (deceased), Dane Stairs (deceased), William Parke Rogers (deceased) and her beloved Lee Jacobs, she faced many challenges in her life but never let them overcome her zest for life, curiosity about everything and her emphasis on family and friends. After a brief battle with cancer she is now at peace.
