5 · OAKVILLE BEAVER Thursday, October 29, 2009 We want your Halloween pictures At this time of year, the Oakville Beaver is overwhelmed with photography requests for haunted houses and Halloween parties. We cannot attend them all, so we are asking our readers for help by sending us your Halloween photographs. We want pictures of your children, spouse or pet dressed up for the event. If you or your neighbour creates a haunted house or spooky yard for Halloween, send us a photo. If you are hosting a children's or adult Halloween party, send us your photos. If your workplace is getting into the Halloween spirit by dressing up, send us your photos. The best submissions will be used in a slideshow presentation on our website, oakvillebeaver.com, after Halloween. Send your pictures to editor@oakvillebeaver.com. Deadline for submissions is 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2. Please remember to include information about your picture -- names of people, street addresses where applicable, and who took the photograph. Include contact information, in case we need to get in touch afterwards. Submissions should be in high-resolution jpg format. Electronic photo images should be between 500k to 1 mb of memory for best results. Do not send any images over 3mb of memory.
