Lacrosse all-star teams include five local players Oakville residents took up nearly a fifth of the spots available on the Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association (CUFLA) all-star teams this season. Peewee Rangers roll in Lake Placid Two Minor Oaks Hockey Association peewee rep teams were crowned champions at the recent Lake Placid Challenge Cup tournament. The Oakville peewee A and peewee AE Rangers combined to go 10-0 at the tournament, outscoring their opponents by a total margin of 52-4. The peewee A Rangers outscored their opposition 21-0 while winning all four of their preliminary-round games, then defeated the Bradford Bulldogs 5-1 in the final.
